Privacy Policy
RetroPoket Color · Last updated October 17, 2026
The short version: RetroPoket Color has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. Your games, saves and settings stay on your device. AniTools does not collect your personal information.
Who we are
RetroPoket Color is made by AniTools. If you have any questions about this policy, email support@anitools.dev.
What stays on your device
Everything you add or create in the app is stored only on your phone:
- The game files you choose to add
- Your game saves and quick saves
- Screenshots of your last game (shown on the Home screen)
- Your settings, controller buttons and chosen skin
We never upload these files. If you uninstall the app, Android deletes them.
What we don't collect
- No name, email, location or contacts
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No advertising and no advertising IDs
- No account or sign-in
When the app uses the internet
RetroPoket Color works offline. It only connects to the internet to:
- Download cover art. When you add a game, the app looks for its cover image on GitHub (the public libretro-thumbnails collection), using the game's name. GitHub receives that request and your IP address, as with any website. See GitHub's privacy statement.
- Load the app's font from Google Fonts. See Google's privacy policy.
Purchases
Skins are sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment, and AniTools never sees your card or payment details. Google tells the app only which skins you own, so it can unlock them. See Google's privacy policy.
Permissions
- Vibration: a short buzz when you press a button. You can turn it off in Settings.
- Internet: only for the cover art and font described above.
Bluetooth controllers are paired in your phone's own settings. The app only reads which buttons you press while you play.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
